Born in New York City in 1952, Grew up in East Harlem, East New York and Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. Went to Catholic Grade Schools; Holy Rosary in East Harlem and Holy Family in Canarsie. Went to Nazareth HS for one year and 3 years at Thomas Jefferson HS in East New York. Worked in the US Post Office for one year, drove a NYC Taxi Cab 3 years. That job was very interesting! I even picked up Peter Yarrow and took him to the airport. We had an interesting conversation. Very nice man! Worked for the MTA NYCT for 27 years. Sold tokens in the booth and then was a subway motorman for 8 years. I operated every line in the system. Then I became an Instructor of Train Operators and Conductors. Did that for the rest of my career. Now I am retired and seeking the Lord to find out what He wants me to do with the rest of my life. I know that whatever it is, it is going to be interesting.
