Clinton Camp Says It Will Use The Nuclear Option

I couldn't agree more. Obama should run in the general, whether he's the nominee or not. He's already got the infrastructure for it.

I've gone back and forth between my willingness to vote for Hillary should she steal the nomination. Given this article, I don't see how I could. posted 05/04/2008 at 17:30:09

Sidney Blumenthal Uses Former Right-Wing Foes To Attack Obama

Blumenthal also writes for salon.com. I recently swore them off due to their disgusting coverage, but I think I'll return just to throw bombs at them.

Everyone in the Hillary camp makes me sick:
Bill
Chelsea
Carville
Blumenthal

Just a bunch of shameless, disgusting power-hungry pigs. posted 05/02/2008 at 08:59:51

Nash McCabe: Obama's Flag Pin Questioner

This is a great article, because it reveals the disingenuous nature of this question from Ms. McCabe: " it's not really about the flag pin, she said in a telephone interview Thursday." That disingenuous quality is true of everyone asking it, including Charlie "What about my taxes" Gibson. Their real concern is using a symbol to hinder Obama's campaign and furthering the cynicism of the American people. (BTW, I'm a veteran of War on Terror, so save me any of the patriotism party line.)

"It's no Hawaiian prep school and Ivy League story, unlike Obama's." What an incredibly disingenuous characterization of Obama's upbringing, ignoring that he was raised by a single mom with the help of her parents and that he earned a scholarship to the Ivy Leagues, unlike other politicians.

All said, I do feel for the McCabe's suffering. I feel for all of our suffering. posted 04/19/2008 at 16:51:40

I have compassion for that man.

Clinton Becomes A Gun Lover

Crown Royal is lousy whisky. If you're going to humiliate yourself like that, at least do it with something decent and American for that matter. The look on her face as the shot is being poured is hilarious. "This is for the nomination. This is for the nomination." posted 04/13/2008 at 07:11:21

Clinton Surrogate Ed Rendell Praises Fox News For "Most Objective," "Balanced" Coverage

I thought Clinton's team thinks Scaife offers the most objective coverage now. Is that not the case? Hmmm. posted 03/31/2008 at 15:44:04

Megs Diamond! GQ Profiles McCain's Saucy Secret Weapon

If you look at her blog, it's got a lot of photos from the trail, and it's striking what a sea of white faces it is out there. They've got an Asian camerawoman, but otherwise there isn't one person in the photos who's not a honkey. That says it all. posted 03/28/2008 at 18:15:22

Harvard Business School's Greatest Lesson

Ivy League universities serve to reinforce the privilege of the ruling elites. All one must do is look to their policy of legacy admissions to confirm that.

But let's look at your list:

(1) Barack Obama-He's my pick, hopefully a great President.
(2) Mike Gravel-Are you serious? He's a joke.
(3) Noam Chomsky -No doubt about it, the greatest intellectual alive today.
(4) Ralph Nader -Another punchline.
(5) Michael Parenti-I had to google this guy to find out who he is. . . So?
(6) Katrina vanden Heuvel-Another . . . "So?"
(7) William Greider-His working for vanden Heuvel only reinforces many's perceptions of Ivy League privilege.
(8) Joe Klein-I'd refer you to Glenn Greenwald series on salon.com about what a disgrace this guy is to the field of journalism.
(9) Brooke Shields-Did you have "Endless Love" or "Blue Lagoon" in mind?

I don't know what your point is. The fact is if one were to choose an arbitrary list of eight universities, one could come with a list of alums at least this distinguished. posted 03/28/2008 at 07:50:08
As others have alluded to, if they haven't yet learned that they should have flunked Bush, then they still have a lot to learn.

Actually, as a graduate of two public universities, I can say Bush's tenure has been great for the proletariate when it comes to academic prestige (undoubtedly the only good thing he's ever done for the proletariate). Never again can an Ivy League graduate use prestige to dismiss someone without risking a comparison to George W. Bush. posted 03/27/2008 at 19:27:27

AP: Why Wasn't The Truth Good Enough For Hillary?

She might get a lot of Republican votes in the primaries. She'll get none in the general. posted 03/26/2008 at 11:18:57
She's still lying.

By saying she misspoke, she's trying to gloss over what she did. That is, in prepared statements and in great detail and repeatedly, she made the comments about dodging sniper fire. Misspeaking connotates and off-hand comment made with some confusion. That's not what happened here.

So, she's lied about the sniper fire.
She's lied about why she made the sniper fire comments.
She lied about brokering peace in Northern Ireland, just ask Lord Trimble.
She lied about being named after Sir Edmund Hillary.
Anyone wanna bet about whether or not she's lied about her tax returns? Or when she'll release them? posted 03/26/2008 at 08:13:46

Cheney On 4,000 Dead Americans: They Volunteered

In fairness to Cheney, I suppose saying "They volunteered" is better than just saying "So?" which is what I would have expected from him when the 4000th soldier died. So, way to step up, Mr. Cheney. posted 03/24/2008 at 14:12:51
