Born in Washington, DC in 1960, Freedmen's Hospital. Attended Job Barnard Elementary School from 1966-1972. Mrs. Grant was my 6th grade teacher. A kid named Sylvia was tall like me and I liked her, however friends were hard to come by for me. Moved with the family to Oklahoma in 1972 - am still here! Earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1992, am a lifetime member of Sigma Pi Sigma. Spent the last 20 years in the newspaper business - might be a good time to get out and go back to science. Lived long enough to witness a person of color ascend to the presidency. May this be the year the District of Columbia gets representation in Congress!
