I am a 55-years young lady who up until recently was taken over by the lamestream media, albeit TeeVee, magazines, newspapers, media, etc. It wasn't until my boyfriend kept emailing me things that ultimately came to be called "CT" things (no matter what the topic as long as it wasn't Corp-stream stuff). At first I thought he was out of his mind because I thought "Oh NO!, the Government couldn't be doing this to us! This went on for over five years. We were apart during this time because he was taking care of his ill mom in another state and I was going through and recuperating from the last two (out of four) back surgeries fusions) in 2003 through 2006. I had my favorite TV shows and since I was basically bedridden with no real friends of speak of, I had nothing to keep me company. I kept telling my boyfriend that he was crazy and almost left him as he kept telling me to WAKE UP and read some of this stuff. But he started me off on way too heavy things a lemming shouldn't read right away, so when we finally got to together for good this past February, we never had our TV turned on which I hated at first. But once we got our Internet turned on I found so many "CT" things I could sink my teeth into (such as sites like these), progressive, and truthful, not propagandized like those mainstream Neo-con-run stations like FOX, NBC, CBS, etc. Except Keith Olbermann, I love him - he speaks his mind.
Anyway, I have a tendency to rant so I'll end here. Anyone can contact me if they want to know anymore about me and I'll probably be posting on this site. I'm a big Ron Paul fan even tho I've never been a Republican nor much involved in politics so have joined his rEVOLution. And the Impeach Cheney? that I have I love to wear to WAKE people up and hopefully get a dialog started.
Nuff said out of me. Hopefully I can make some friends here.
