I sat here as a child born in the 50’s. Confused and sadden by the choice of leaders I have to choose from. One African American with a touch of elitism and the other a drunken sailor with issues concern his tour duty of during the Vietnam War for he keeps referring to his experience as not a noble one (I believe McCain feels that begin a Prisoner of War was not enough and needs a successful war in order to feel whole) I am fighting hard not to be an appeaser for the status quo and a hater of my race and of my womanhood. These choices are making all things miserable for me.

I found the choice of Vice President in Sarah Palin concerning to me and my other bunches of grapes feel some sort of challenge but mainly confusion is one word that keeps popping up.

After all the achievements of women through the centuries from Harriet Tubman to Michelle Obama, to Coretta Scott King and to Mrs. Meager Evans, to Gwendolyn Brooks, and to Toni Morrison and D. C. Senator Norton and Texas Senator Jackson and Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, these women and more deserves are respect and love and then for Sarah Palin in one five minute speech she back sided - the efforts and achievements of these women worthy of saint hood were crushed! In one sweep - Palin kept alive the stereotype of catty women, hating each other, Palin represented women fighting like a barrel of crabs pulling each other down and going no where

Hillary Clinton has helped to knocked down that glass ceiling and trust the issue there are men and catty women willing to super glue those 18 million pieces, so, Palin needs to remember always let words unite not cause division insults period will lead to a curses this nation does not need and this nation’s legacy to should not be reduced a sorry footnote in history as a nation that refuse to fight evil.


I now feel that the selection of Mrs. Palin is a total insult to many women, who desire solidarity to fight the powers of stupid and ignorance.

Politics or not the issues are GOD, prosperity and security and peace in order to rise our children and adore the children that will come – women wanting and needing to continue to create something special in this world of hostile white men and other dark men of color who have restricted the female race with cultural dress and behavior.

For, Governor Palin not to show respect towards Michelle Obama woman - named Michelle Obama wife of Senator Barack Obama and mother of two beautiful daughters. Palin has given a low kick reaction to the life she says she supports and yes I am saying Palin in my opinion (not to sound passive) is lacking those trusting words I want from my politician ethnic, integrity and just plain let me say it again trust. Enough is enough.

Like I said earlier I am a child of the 50’s and my family history is filled with the tragedy of being an American fighting for the right to exist and I do not want to repeat that history within my time and never will I allow it to continue with my grandchildren. I see and smell something growing ripe with the choice of Palin and I am determining to find out and let others know.

McCain is listening to the wrong people but like most republicans clueless to the needs of the public. I want my politicians to be capable of doing the job not showing me how they can lead me to stupid.

The suckers are trying to play me and I am saying oh no she didn’t!

.She fought it is a battle for all woman and to dismiss one is a dismissal for all women in America and the world. I am not looking forward to the debate of Vice Presidents for I see a mascara running!
