Bio
I became an activist the moment I became a mother. I was determined to give the world the best person my son could be and give my son the best world it could be.
My outlook on life is a bit skewed. I am a well-educated Melungeon whose religious background resembles an octopus playing twister: One side of the family was Methodist, the other was Baptist, my parents converted to Judaism and sent me to a Catholic school. I do guilt in four languages.
My credo comes from Helen Keller -
I am only one, but I am still one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.
