McAuliffe Says Russert's Dad Is 'Watching From Heaven' -- He's Alive (VIDEO)

The issue is not his pandering to Mr. Russert's well established affection for his father, but the isistence that Senator Clinton could win.

On what basis this is possible? The legal way is if she gathered more delegates. That being impossible, even if she includes (illegally) Florida and Michigan.

So, what is the unguided missile planning? An armed takeover of the Denver Party Convention? This they can do with their followers and turn the convention into another Chicago Convention during the Vietnam war. A walkout of her supporters, say?

The Wall Street Journal had an article yesterday about the Clinton Divorce... Not the aging couple, but their divorce from the Democratic Party. Any reasonable person would conclude that they are not really party members. The party appears to be their vehicle.

If the US administration and Israel kept out of Lebanon that country would have been in a much better state than it is now. That despite the fact that at every turn.

One cannot separate what the US administration and Israel are doing now from the miserable performance of Israel's army in the summer of 2006, and its earlier one in 2000.

Will they succeed? May be. But so far they evidently are not. It certainly seems that Hizbullah enjoys considerable popular support, not only while fighting Israel's incursions, but against their US-sponsored (stronger than backed) government. One only needs to skim through British newspapers to size up the size of tghe humiliating defeat of the intentions of the administration and Israel.

And yes, when the 'liberals' are not schizophrenic. They do NOT want the US to be embroiled in adventures that does not concern the people of the US - starting with Iraq and ending with Venezuela. posted 05/10/2008 at 23:44:23

Hillary Clinton Ad Features Osama Bin Laden: Campaign AdWatch

It reached the stage when the tactics of the Clinton campaign is simply beneath contempt.

This is a distinct possibility I am now beginning to consider. I can fight McCain's policies, but I cannot deal with a President who will be no different from our current Congress - using my party affiliation to keep me quiet while doling out what the Republicans want... Bill Clinton Suggests Young Voters Too Easily Fooled

The former President should try to control himself. He certainly does not belong to America's present or future. As to America's past, one has to believe Senator Obama when he says that our frustration dates back before President George W. Bush took power. It dates back to the Republican Revolution that took place during the Clinton years... while the President was busy attending to other matters than those of state. To the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' defeat, to a Healthcare reform promised in the "first 100 days" of the Clinton presidency.... and above all for taking the money from the poor and welfare recipients, and saving it in the form of (funny) budget surpluses for President George W. Bush to hand it over th rich... to which the former President, according to his tax return appears to belong, too.

Of course there were other frustrations. From several frustrating and painful events, one can remember when an arms embargo was placed on Herzegovina... while Serbia was getting its war supplies from Yeltsin, in Russia... and the thousands who were murdered in cold blood there!!

Yes, President Clinton: I am frustrated, and have been for 12 years... And so are my kids! So, please leave us alone, if you don't mind! posted 04/16/2008 at 02:25:34

An Issue of Legitimacy and Democracy

But where were such voices when the Florida and Michigan Democrats refused to adhere to the decisions of the DNC and opted, with a clear vision of the consequences, to have early Primaries?

This 'heartbreaking plea' to count the vote of the Democrats in both states come so late and at a time when Senator Clinton needs these illegal votes to give her a modicum of a chance to win the nomination.

Given that the writer is a Clinton supporter, I am not surprised. BUT: to hide behind a slogan like "An Issue of Legitimacy and Democracy" is pathetic, disingenuous and sadly, typical of the Clinton campaign utterances.

The Democratic voters will not be deprived their vote in November - and that is what matters. They opted, willingly to walk away from the Party rules, and they have, as it is, forfeited their right to select the Party's nominee - PERIOD.

So, along this line: The New York Senator downgrades Martin Luther King to a mere street demonstrator. When the Obama Campaign point to the racial content of such a vision of Rev. King, they turn round and accuse the Obama campaign of bringing race to the table.

This is so underhand, and so deceitful - and so recurrent!

This is typical of the Clinton Campaign.
First the former president, whose reputation must now be totally muddied by his utterances, states in so many words: "Let the fight for the Presidency be between the two who love America, Hillary and McCain."

This prompted one of Senator Obama senior aids to respond stating that it reminded him of the McCarthy days, essentially because McCarthy accused honest, hardworking and mostly very talented people of being "Un-American."

To give the former President's outrageous statement more air and space, they are now asking for an apology - this will help the message of the former President to reach deeper and be established... After all the statement is no longer the problem, it is the accusation of McCarthyism that is - ergo: "Senator Obama does not love America."

For my money, these tactics are those of a bunch who do not love the American people!

Another Bill Clinton Moment On The Campaign Trail

It depends on the measure you use for Patriotism.

President George W. Bush believes he is a patriot!

Former president Clinton obviously believes tat he, his wife and Senator McCain are Patriots.

Richard M. Nixon though himself to be a patriot when he lied and lied to the American people and help bringing about the death of 5.8 Million Vietnamese and 45,000 Americans.

Franklin Roosevelt thought himself to be a patriot when he saved the nation through his New Deal

Harry S. Truman who in cold blood killed 200,000 Japanese while asleep in bed with his nuclear bombs... thinks himself a patriot!

Does not this suggest that Patriotism is not a reasonable measure for a a good or a bad President?

Over the past four months, the Senator, her strident husband, or her campaign, attacks, normally personally, and gets hit back by sometimes facts, sometimes patience and facts.

That you hit under the belt when it fits and take the hig road when it does not is so childish it borders on the infantile.

No two persons (as the Richardson's endorsement demonstrates) disagree about the inevitable role Senator Clinton will find herself playing if she persists.
