I am a 58 year old African American. I retired at a very young age of 51 and currently a graduate student.
I once was a supporter of HRC and then I moved over to the Obama's camp. HRC inherited my support because of my devotion to Bill Clinton. The shift came when I began to the coded sounds of racism coming from the Clinton camp. I know that they will deny that ever happened but I have lived long enough, intelligent enough and have had the necessary life experiences that I can recgonize the "sounds of racism." A line was crossed by the Clinton's that I never knew was there...I have loved and supported Clinton from day one...even among family members who are evangelicals who have supported Bush twice...so moving away from the Clinton's was not a easy or hurried decision.
