I find it astounding that another Clinton supporter refuses to see that this primary is over. The bitter, angry boomer age of feminism is over and it is about time woman praise Senator Clinton for her personal pursuit of power, under the disguise of feminism, and inform her that it is over. It is time for women to stand together and unite the party to elect our democratic nominee for the sake of saving our future generations from further divide and destructive leadership that has been in effect for the past 7 years and will continue if unity is not supported by Senator Clinton and her supporters. Let Senator Clinton start the process by demonstrating her self professed leadership and unity skills that she has constantly flaunted throughout this primary season! posted 05/16/2008 at 12:04:39

As a 54 year old white woman and mother who supports Obama, I am proud that we, as Americans, are finally recognizing that we deserve better from our leaders and each other.

Senator Kerry, I think it is high time all of those in congress, or at least those with integrity, stand up and say enough. The fact that the Clinton's have posed a threat to any and all that go against them is disgusting and corrupt and must be stopped.
As of right now, those who have endorsed and continue to support this behavior with silence are themselves guilty of destroying the party, the nation and the best leader of the democratic party since JFK. I am disgusted by her surrogates and those in congress who fear standing up for the good of the party and the nation and instead cower to protect their own interests.
As an Obama supporter, I promise to work diligently against those who have endorsed and supported her behavior to confirm that they are removed from the party and replaced with representatives that conform to the party rules and hold the same values and integrity that support all party members, not just the rules for a chosen few. This is a brilliant move that will diminish any perception that negative politics will become part of his campaign, especially since a majority of these private orgs have been associated with Clinton's campaign, ie. WVWV/ Page Gardner/John Podesta, and have been used against him during the primary. These organizations can no longer exist as part of the Democratic party for the general election, especially when they have been used against their own members and can no longer be trusted. The saddest part of this last ditch effort is that her surrogates are willing to let her look so foolish and destructive. You would think that real loyalty would begin with the honesty that would protect the image and character of those they percieve to be loyal to. If they all refused to spin this rediculous act then they would habve forced her to face reality and save her what little dignity she has left. Very sad. posted 05/13/2008 at 15:01:07
I think if Reid and Pelosi had been honest with the public about the bind they were in with a 50-49 majority maybe we would have been more sympathetic to their dilemma and made more of an effort to hound our representatives to vote in their constituents favor. However, the congressional majority consists of blue dog democrats, DLC, who do not always vote with the DNC agenda and cause problems with the people accepting the performance of the democratic congress as a whole, especially when you have the likes of Lieberman, Fienstein and Schumer voting with the GOP on the war bills, FISA and in favor of Mukasey.
Honest transparancy with the people is the only way our democracy can succeed and if that happens than Reid and Pelosi cannot loose favor in the public eye. Maybe things will change when Senator Obama becomes President. posted 05/13/2008 at 14:51:44

It is so sad that her blindly loyal surrogates have worked so hard to destroy everything good in our country for the sake of their own personal pursuit of power. Maybe they will all wake up soon and realize that the Clinton's are only for the Clinton's and could care less about their corrupt loyalists. What will never be forgotten is how they all participated, with their loyalty, to destroy one of their own, a fellow democrat, which will follow them long after this campaign, as they will be viewed in the same negative darkness as the Clinton's.
As an Obama supporter and volunteer, I will financially support anyone who runs against these Clinton loyalist and surrogates who contributed to the deplorable and destructive behavior that has caused the division of the party and, more importantly, to our nation. I will never forget the ABC debate in PA that represented the most diplorable acts of the Clinton's and her surrogates and gave her the win in PA because she was able to instill questions and fear into white working class, uneducated of PA, which she played on to win. This is extremely disturbing. The fact that those who have supported her effort to run as the first female candidate, should now be very concerned about the way this woman has decided to gain power for herself, not for the woman she was suppose to represent. This is not about breaking the glass ceiling for women, this is about shattering the party and anyone who gets in her way of seeking power. She is not fighting to be the first woman President that we wanted to represent us, this is about an individuals personal fight for the power she thought she deserved and if she can't have it then nobody will. Her female supporters should now realize that she does not represent the values of those in the feminist movement who have fought fairly with dignity to make the enormous gains that exist today.
It is time for women (and men) to stand up and tell her it is over before she totally destroys the party and divides the nation in order to achieve her own individual power. This is not about those superdelegates who are only concerned with their district and state outcomes, this is far more serious. This is about stepping up to save the party, as soon as possible, so that we can all work to unite the party before it is too late and all those districts and states become red if McCain wins this election.
Ironcially, your comment is representative of the candidate you support. The funny thing you mention, "How's he going to govern if he has to answer to a bunch like you", is called democracy. He is an elected official who represents the will of the people. I think because we have been lacking this kind of leadership for far too long that we forget all the elected representatives are suppose to represent the people's interest, funny hah!!!! posted 05/08/2008 at 22:49:02

These actions contradict and go against the the changes we all want to see in our goverment, especially the changes we, feminists especially, want to see as we proceed to someday elect a woman to the Presidency. When are the superdelegates going to wake up to the fact that this primary has become a feast to the GOP and their future elections. I have lost total respect for the Democratic leaders. Also, many people are well aware of the threats on our election process based on the electronic voting machines, which played a major role in Kerry's loss in 2004. I believe he is a man, son, father, husband and an American who, like all of us, knows that our nation and world is in a very dangerous time and we are in desperate need for an intelligent, unifying leader. Let us all give him a chance to start the debate with Obama that will bring about a change in the media and our nation.

There is no comparison, Russert is by far the professional, as ABC and Stephanopolous is now perceived to have no credibility, which is confirmed by the blatant bias and conflict of interest towards his previous employer. Russert will be fair and honest in his interview with Obama, as he moves to demonstrate himself as the professional who cares about the direction of our nation, as he discusses the issues that Americans are craving to hear. He will avoid the destructive, ficticous fallacies that have been created and caused by those who want to destroy the campaign of Obama.
Tim Russert and NBC have an opportunity to change the perception of MSM by leading a discussion of truth, which American's are in great need of. Additionally, one could say this, and many stories like this, have caused so much pain and anger within our African American community and, coincedently, can be eye opening in understanding the anger and pain that Rev. Regarding Senator Obama, he is in a very difficult position, as a candidate for the Presidency because he honestly does not have the power to enact substantative change in this situation and that is why he is running for President. Clinton will never be the nominee because there will be very few democrats left in the party to vote for her or those who endorse her. posted 05/01/2008 at 22:43:27
No, it is too late to fire anyone, the Clintons have to be removed from the campaign and the party NOW!!! Everyone should contact their representatives immediatley to end this primary now!!! posted 05/01/2008 at 18:42:24
This is very disturbing and disgusting for the party, the nation and Blumenthals family. posted 05/01/2008 at 18:36:56
Mr Menendez, maybe you should have your candidate stop her surrogates, like Blumenthal and Podesta, from feeding the right wing media the scandals that have negatively impacted her fellow democratic opponent and his supporters. The longer you and others in the party let this destuctive, illegal and corruptive situtation go on, the more culpable you "all" are in destroying the party and your constituent support in the future. You all better wake up before it is too late!!!! posted 05/01/2008 at 20:26:44
Mr. Andrew I think you need to add an addendum to your letter that includes the political tactics against Obama done by Mr. Blumenthal (see huff post thread on front page) and send it out to all superdelegates immediately. Also, the robo calls in North Carolina that were reported on the local NBC affiliate in Raleigh, which included the attorney generals investigation into the illegal acts of WVWV and the involvement of Clinton supporters who are on the board. posted 05/01/2008 at 19:15:21
Thank you Mr. Andrews. You are a man of great character and integrity who believes in doing the right thing for the party and the country, despite the risk of attacks from those who have none of the above.
You are a patriot and hero. posted 05/01/2008 at 13:24:01
Arianna is a leader and my hero. If the future female candidates for President take note of Arianna's leadership skills they will most definitely succeed in their goal. posted 05/01/2008 at 14:25:18
Maybe the author, Mr. Lux, who is on the board of WVWV with many other Clinton supporters, can tell us about the robo calls in NC, and many other states, which served to disenfranchise many voters, especially African American voters in North Carolina, as reported on the local NBC affiliate in Raliegh, Norht Carolina and now being investigated by the North Carolina attorney general. .I think it is time to tell your candidate to leave the primary race and the party. Her surrogates (Blumenthal, Podesta and Page) have served to strive to destroy her democratic opponent, the party and his supporters. It is time for those who have any sense of integrity left to end their blind loyalty and do the right thing for the nation!!!! posted 05/01/2008 at 22:29:16
I think this article explains why there has been no action to end the war or discussion of impeachment in the Senate. When the relationship between the majority leader, Harry Reid, and Liebermann, a strong advocate for the war and the administration, is extremely close it only makes sense that they hold the same views. Hopefully, Nevada and Connecticut, will hold these two accountable when they are up for election and vote them out!!!!! posted 04/16/2008 at 12:44:11
Lawyers that support Obama are very different than the lawyers and judges who support and work for our current administration. This is a good sign and fyi, every major law firm has a relationship entity (lobbying group) with the US government. Law firm lobbyists versus major Corp lobbyists is vastly different. posted 04/16/2008 at 11:00:03
I am interested in hearing from Clinton on the Bosnia lie, Columbia NAFTA and Bill's $800,000 payday and Guistra deal, her Walmart support, her health care mandate penalty clause and her definition of elitism and how and why she attributes this label to Obama and not herself. Also, if people are not bitter about losing thier jobs, health care, pensions and their homes because of NAFTA, financial deregualtion, influential lobbyists and the war then how would she define their spirit???
I am curious how Mr. Stephanopolous, a Clinton supporter and former employee, is going to question his candidate of choice on these important issues. posted 04/16/2008 at 10:44:35
As long as Keith keeps speaking truth to power I will continue to be a devout fan. Fox News is a joke and danger to our society. The Fox News agenda is to target viewers who are easily led with lies, distortions and fear, which has resulted in fraudulently appointing a President twice who set out to destroy our nation and world with a neocon agenda that believes in war for profit and oil. They employ people who are uneducated and lack the character and integrity to protect society with honest, factual reporting and instead set out to destroy those who have differing views by labelling them terrorists and non patriotic.
America needs more Keith Olbermann's to speak out to protect our nation and our place in the world for future generations. Fox News viewers can learn what real patriotism is by watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
