This is a brilliant move that will diminish any perception that negative politics will become part of his campaign, especially since a majority of these private orgs have been associated with Clinton's campaign, ie. WVWV/ Page Gardner/John Podesta, and have been used against him during the primary. These organizations can no longer exist as part of the Democratic party for the general election, especially when they have been used against their own members and can no longer be trusted. I think if Reid and Pelosi had been honest with the public about the bind they were in with a 50-49 majority maybe we would have been more sympathetic to their dilemma and made more of an effort to hound our representatives to vote in their constituents favor. Terry, I agree that Limbaugh is playing a part in our primary election, but there is also voter surpression and manipulation that has played a part in many states, involving the Womens Voices Women Vote (WVWV) organization, which has a direct relationship to the Clinton campaign. Also, many people are well aware of the threats on our election process based on the electronic voting machines, which played a major role in Kerry's loss in 2004. There is no comparison, Russert is by far the professional, as ABC and Stephanopolous is now perceived to have no credibility, which is confirmed by the blatant bias and conflict of interest towards his previous employer.
