I guess I'm an official 'expatriot' since I've been living in Costa Rica for 15 years now. Early retirement because I loved my job but hated where my taxes went. Paradise it ain't, as many Gringos find out after hastily moving here and then realizing it's not what they expected. But it is a true democracy, something the U.S. no longer is nor has been for a long time. It is always interesting reading the "news" from the U.S. and then reading it from everywhere else. Hardly sounds like the same place. My advice to those forced to stay is to blow up your TV, throw away your papers and if possible, move to the country. But that's just my opinion. I am NOT a Democrat and pity any who still think that wing of the One Party has their or the countries interests at heart. Obama is going to be as great a disapointment as Slick Willie, another Republican undercover and primary perpetrator of the DLC along with his bosom buddies Likud Joe and Occidental Al Gore and others. The Democratic party people still believe in doesn't exist anymore and peoples failure to realize that keeps me posting here, which is equivilent to banging my head against a brick wall. But nobody ever said I was smart.
