I started participating in discussions on Huffington Post during the 2008 presidential election cycle. It was a good place for discussion of left-of-center points of view. Unfortunately, the ruthless censorship of polite, reasoned postings that happen to contradict the official positions of the Huffington post in ways that aren't ridiculous (they tolerate reactionary cranks and the odd racist, apparently) is just too insulting. As of 4/4/2009, I'm outa here. Have fun with your circle jerk!
