Former Republican now registered as Non-Affiliated with Libertarian leanings.
I left the Republican party due to the lies and hypocrisy. I also do not agree with the social values of the ultra right-wing who use religion to project superiority over those who don't agree with their views lock-step.
However, I do recognize that most who embrace religion are good people, not judgmental and willing to allow you to pursue your happiness as our Constitution allows even if it conflicts with some of their religious beliefs.
Those that condemn all who embrace any religion are as mis-guided as those who are mis-guided about religion.
I have serious concerns with some Democrats that believe government can take care of me with my and others money better than I can with my money.
Economically Conservative / Socially Liberal (unless it involves children, that's where I draw the line as most people)
Pro-Fair Tax (most important issue to me)
