IDENTIFYING MARKS

Each of the two political parties have historically espoused a philosophy central to their identity. Each has not promoted their identifying emphases for whatever reasons but once you hear what distinguishes them you will immediately recognize the truth of these definitions. The Republican Party is the party of Property over People. The Democratic Party is the party of People over Property. That�s not a judgment. That�s where their interest have been historically. People refers to the majority of people, young and old, rich and poor. Property refers to holdings; be it money, land, business, or influence. Corporate America has power because Corporate America has excessive money, influence and property. The term �over� means prioritizing one as more important than the other. The power of democracy is an organized people. The power of Capitalism is an organized ability to create money and material success. Check out the History of each party; those who backed that party; the Supreme Court Justices appointed by that party and their decisions, and you will see how well this simple definition fits. The Republicans aren�t shy about talking about what�s good for the economy. The Democrats appear to be shy about their historic base, the middle class.
