Update - I had posted information about a column I have at gimme20.com I don't know what's going on with that site - my article is there but nothing is happening with the site and nobody responds to emails, so I'm considering it a dead issue.

Back to the bio:
I turned 61 recently, and inadvertently ended up in remarkably good shape for my age even though I've always been sedentary. It occurred almost by accident, but almost anyone can do the same thing by intent.
I have an absolutely free website - http://www.questforendorphins.com -
where I'm trying to share my experiences and promote the principles of what I call energy focused exercise, which primarily means starting to exercise with mood and energy as your goals and gradually internalizing the near term benefits. It also means exercising for as long as you're motivated, not necessarily for a specific period of time. The point is to engage your subconscious, not beat it into submission.
It's nice if you have an exercise you enjoy, but I managed to tolerate riding an exercise bike everyday for 25 years. Luckily about 5 years ago I discovered jump rope, and since then I've developed JumpRock, HulaRock, and Heavy Hula Hands; these are the exercises that really made the difference for me because they are actually fun. I demonstrate them on the site.
I'm not trying to sell lessons, there are plenty of videos on the site so you can see everything you need to learn on your own.
