Powerful Video of Ugly Sexist Vilification of Hillary Clinton

This is problem with Hillary supporters is they refuse to acknowledge that anybody could have a legitimate issue with her behaviour or her programs. They truly believe that the only reason that people don"t support her is because they are sexist and she is a woman. The truth is that supporting her just because she is a woman, is the sad and shallow decision criteria of a true sexist.

That is not to say that there is no sexism out there. No doubt America has more than its fair share of sexist and racists, 90% of which belong to the republican party. Obama-Webb 2008

I am afraid I have to disagree. This election, like all elections in recent history is going to be determined by economics. Sadly the American electorate is simply too selfish to care about anything but their own financial well being. In fact I would argue that the main reason why previous supporters of the war are now concerned about the war is because of the financial drain on the U.S. economy.

Given the financial catastrophe that the Bush Administration will leave behind, the best running mate would be someone who has impeccable economic credentials. That is why I support Warren Buffet for Vice President. If anyone can help get us out of this mess it is Buffet and the added benefit is that the Republicans would have know idea how to attack a man of his standing.

Congress: Money for War, But No Money for the Troops?

While it is undeniable that providing college education to Americans is beneficial to America, I must admit that I see little reason to treat soldiers returning form Iraq any different than any other young persons.

This is my dilemma. Unlike in the WWII when conscription determined who went to war we now have an all volunteer army. That means you as an individual can choose to support the war by enlisting or not. By the very act of enlisting or re-enlisting you are saying that you support the ill-conceived and miss-managed war in Iraq. So why is it that a young man/woman who supported this war be given a place in a college in preference to someone who opposed the war and therefore refuses to enlist?

My personal view is that support for or opposition to the war should not be a consideration for either admission or funding of a college education. posted 05/13/2008 at 04:47:17

Why is it that so many Americans think that Americans are the best educated? This is simply not true. The truth is that almost every country in Europe provides a better, more comprehensive education to all their children than does America.

The fact that small number of rich peoples children are able to afford to go to some of the most expensive schools in the world does not in anyway translate into Americans being the best educated. Clinton's "Obliteration" Remark is Genocidal, Requires Apology

"Israel -- which has nukes -- has neither attacked Iran nor threatened it"

Not true! Israel has on more than one ocassion indicated that if it beleive that Iran is continuing to pursue nuclear weapons it will attack. Now given that Israel believes that Iran is trying to develop nuclear waepns and just resently attack a supposed nuclear facility in Syria I do not doubt for a second that it will not attack Iran, do you? Given the Iranian sites are heavily fortifide it may need a nuclear weapon to destroy them.

Now assuming that Israel attacks Iran do you really think the that Iranians are not going attempt to counter attack? It is this escalation that could easly result in Israel turning to is nuclear weapons for more than just destroying the suspect weapon sites.

Finally again how is it that oblitorating Iran is any less crazy? Is it because they are Muslim and there is no such thing as an innocent Muslim? Please tell me your not that much of a Christian fanatic! posted 05/02/2008 at 09:50:10
Here another question;

"IF ISRAEL WERE TO LANCH A NUCLEAR ATTACK ON IRAN, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR REPONSE AS AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?"

Some how I don't think that anyone in their right mind would suggest that the proper response would be to obliterate Israel. So how is it that oblitorating Iran is any less crazy? Is it because they are Muslim and there is no such thing as an innocent Muslim? Please tell me your not that much of a Christian fanatic!

Further if the truth be known the chances of Israel (which has nuclear weapons) nuking Iran ( which doesn't have nuclear weapons and even using the most pessemistic forecasts won't have them for years "perhaps decades") is about 100 time as likely as the reverse. posted 05/02/2008 at 04:00:56

Just for the record in terms of blood on their hands I believe the kill ratio is about 50 to 1. That is the Israelis kill about 50 Palestinians for ever Israeli the Palestinians kill. So if Carter has blood on his hands for meeting with Hamas, the Israeli Ambassador must be bathing in the blood of Palestinians. posted 04/25/2008 at 01:42:50

McCain's Fatal Problem: He's Become a Liar

As usual the rabid right fanatics like Mack20 are using the tried and true method of accusing their opponents of being what they are in an attempt to divert attention from reality.

The biggest hate mongers in the country belong to the rabid right, just think of Rush, O'Reilly, Milkin ect. ect...ect. Because Bush has shown that the conservative agenda only leads to failure, hate and fear is all they have to offer.

Now as to McCain being a liar, all I can say is it is about time that the glove came off. Despite his commendable military career, McCain has decided that fear mongering and war mongering are the way to the White House. If he is not held to account for his lies and deceptions he may be successful in his endeavour. posted 04/25/2008 at 05:45:49

Why The Left Must Shout Louder

PS: The left has virtually been eliminated in America. Today there are only moderates and the right. falling ito the trap of being pigeon holed as the left is the first mistake most Democates make. posted 04/25/2008 at 03:38:53
The biggest problem that we moderates have is not that we do not step up it is that we do it in such a thoughtful way. Rather than responding with simple messages that the vast majority of Americans are in tune to, we provide complicated examinations, analysis and rebuttals of every slimeball comment made by the neo-conservatives. What we need to do is to provide simple statements and responses that are easily understood. For example:

Why do we insist on calling these right wing fanatics neo-conservative. This description has no clear negative connotations I think we should call them the rabid right. Remember the damage done to the left by allowing the loony left overtone to become ingrained in the American psyche? We can do the same to the right with rabid right.

Further why do we use all these niceties to describe lying and liars? When someone knowingly says something that is untrue it is a lie and they are a liar.

To give you an idea of what I mean compare the following:

The neo-conservatives are not being fair when they suggest that Obama is a secret Muslim. While they know that it is not true they continue to suggest it might be true for their own political purposes.

The rabid right are caught once again lying about Obama"s religious beliefs. It seems these liars will say anything to distract the public from their own incompetence.

Which do you think that average American will remember? posted 04/25/2008 at 03:33:42

My Conversation with Congressman Rahm Emanuel

I could not agree more, whether or not a Democrate is elected President will be largely determined by how well Hillary accepts defeat. If she treats Obama like Ted Kennedy treated Carter, Obama will have a hard time winning.

What is really scary is that I have no confidence that she will accept defeat gracefully. posted 04/25/2008 at 08:22:51

Gabriel Sherman, TNR and Nader's Traitors

Everyone has a right to run. But with every right comes responsibility. This is the problem with Nader, he is totally unwilling to except responsibility for his actions. By this I mean he accepts no responsibly for Gore's loss, even thought by continuing into the actual election (that he had no chance of winning) he knew he would contribute to Gore's loss. For a guy who spent his career making other except responsibly for their actions this is hypocrisy of the highest order. posted 04/24/2008 at 00:24:23

Benedict's Choice Is No Choice

If public religion means people using religion to judge others in public count me out. While my soul does not mind private condemnation, I am pretty sure it would be pretty rebellious if it had to accept public criticism for not being pious enough.

And just for the record, while I believe that all Popes are extremely religious men, history and Luther have shown that they are not infallible agents of god. posted 04/24/2008 at 00:41:06

Clinton On Iran: Could "Totally Obliterate" Them If They Attacked Israel

What an unforunate gift to Israel. While I believe that we should make a fundemental commitment to the security of Israel in conjunction with NATO, this commitment should only be given if Israel agrees to return to the 1967 borders thereby returning the occupied land to the Palistinians.

Making this security pledge without any concessions from Israel basically puts American troops and nuclear weapons on the front line of the Israeli land grab. posted 04/22/2008 at 09:56:37

On Passover: Thank You, Jimmy Carter

Having read your statement I am humbled. For a long time I have suggested that peace was impossible without negotiation, but to have someone as directly involved as youself voice those views makes my comments mere wisps of air. Thank-you. posted 04/21/2008 at 11:05:42

Why Being Pro-McCain is Anti-Israel

"If McCain attacks Iran, as he has suggested he is inclined to do, the Sunni-Shiite conflict in Iraq could easily morph into a Pan-Arab conflict, in which recruiting aims could be achieved, in part, by launching sustained attacks against Israel. Four to eight more years of neoconservative policy has the potential to set off a powder keg of chaos, from which hard-liners and fanatics will likely ascend to power."

Could not agree more. In fact I would suggest that if McCain becomes President the risk of a third world war between the Muslims and Christians moves from being a remote possiblity to being more than likely. You can be sure all the religious fanatics waiting for the rapture will be voting for McCain. posted 04/21/2008 at 09:45:58

BREAKING NO SPIN NEWS: Barack Spokesman Calls O'Reilly A Hypocrite For Demeaning Obama's Faith

This is not the right place for this comment. The vast majority of Obama supporters do not feel a need to unjustifiablely bash Clinton. We do it when she deservses it. When you do it on a gratuitous basis it makes everybody look bad. posted 04/21/2008 at 09:37:07
Fox has done nothing but Obama bashing from the start of this race. Going on O'Reilly's show would serve no positive purpose what so ever. The only thing that would happen is that he would be hit with a bunch of inappropriate slimeball questions, to which there is no right answer.

It needs to be remembered that trying reason with the rabid right, of which O'Reilly is there most vocal member, is like trying to reason with a rabid dog. Obama is far better off just letting Bill foam at the mouth and bark in the corner. posted 04/21/2008 at 06:45:59

White Men

How does not wanting to be stereotyped by a fanatic Clinton supporter and planning to make my decision on honesty, integrity and my assessment of competence make me childish? I would think that making your decision based on gender is the more childish notion. Surely not all of the males you mention are inferior to all the females you know?

If you take the time to get over your bias perhaps you too will recognize that Obama exhibits a greater degree of honesty and integrity than Clinton. I particularly admire his work as an inner city coordinator when he could have become a successful lawyer for say a company like Walmart. As to competence I believe that he has had better judgement on Iraq and agree with his conviction that we need to engage our enemies in dialog rather than war. As far as internal matters are concerned I also believe that because of his work he has a much better understanding of the real hardships average Americans are feeling. Whereas Clinton has lived in a bubble for the last 16 years and really only thinks she knows what hardships are. posted 04/21/2008 at 01:46:50
Nora has been so wrong for so long.

As a white man I am insulted that she thinks that I am going to make my decision based on race or gender. Nothing could be further from the truth. I will make my decision on honesty, integrity and my assesment of competence. On all three of these points Obama comes out ahead of Clinton so he will get my vote.

Sorry if I don't fit your predjudices. posted 04/21/2008 at 00:48:42

Sunday Roundup

I could not agree more. The rabid right has hijacked the mainstream media and they have done it through bribery.

The owners and executive managers of the mainstream media have all benefited enormously because of the Bush tax cuts. Obviously Murdoch who got over $3 billion worth of tax breaks, mainly from repeal of the inheritance tax, was the biggest winner. But ever a senior executive at ABC who makes more than $1,000,000 per year have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo. If you want proof of this just like at the questions that were asked during the last debate. They moderators were clearly more concerned with the taxes on for the rich, than the plight of the poor. posted 04/20/2008 at 02:20:42

Carter's Hamas Hallucination

While you criticise Carter for being to one sided in favour of the Palestinians you fail to recognise let alone acknowledge the one sided support that the U.S. give to Israel. The fact is but for our one side support of Israel this conflict could have been over years ago.

All it would take would be for the U.S. to insist that Israel return to the 1967 borders in return for membership in NATO and the security guarantees that that would entail. But no we have to support Israel"s land grab and them condemn the Palestinians for not excepting an unjust peace. posted 04/18/2008 at 09:53:20

As an Obama supporter I agree that Olberman has been over the top on his criticism of Clinton and for your information I do not take special joy in watching Hillary getting hammered. I also do not believe that FOX has been Fair and Balanced in its reporting as Governer Rendel has suggested nor do I think this debate was either balanced or constructive.

From your comments it appears you are one of those "Obama is secretly a Muslim terrorist" fanatics. If you are please just come right out a say it, rather than trying to imply it, it makes you look like a coward.

I remember after 9/11 I had the courage to say that the war in Iraq was a bad idea that would hurt us in our fight against terrorist. You clearly are one of those that felt anyone that was not for the war was a traitor. Well I made no appologies then and I make no apppologies now. Religion in Politics: Does Anyone Really Believe Obama, Clinton and McCain Are Particularly Devout?

Who cares?

I want a President not a religious leader. Infact I would choose an atheist over a religious fanatic any day of the week. At least an atheist will take a reasoned decision. With a religious fanatic reason takes a back seat to doctrine and pressing the nuclear button to end the world might seem rational in their minds. posted 04/16/2008 at 04:01:14
