I'm a computer scientist by trade but I've had a passion for reading all my life. Besides computers I'm interested in history, philosophy, science, art, and music among other things. I chose RedDog because at the time I had a wonderful tough but loving socialist rotweiller and also because its a term in football for having the defense just go all out after the quarterback which is sometimes the way I feel when I respond to people. Since someone already had RedDog I chose RedDogBear to honor the Chicago Bears. Chicago is where I'm originally from. I'm actually not much of a sports fan but have remained loyal to the Bears, I think because as a kid I enjoyed watching them even though they lost most of the time and I think there is a deeper meaning there perhaps, or perhaps not.
