Bio
Son of a union man who taught me the lessons of the people's struggle for fair pay and fair treatment. We had our falling out over Viet Nam. Only many years later did I finally understand the enormity of his generation's suffering and sacrifice and it's impact on his point of view.
I went to college.
He never could.
He worked with his hands.
I became an artist. I work with my hands.
"When they've tortured and scared you
for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function
you're so full of fear
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever
and classless and free
But you're still fucking peasants
as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be"
John Lennon
