I am a Republican. I am annoyed with the current administration by messing up when he responded so well initially to problems. And yet, I am still a Republican. I don't bail on truth simply because it's unpopular.
I support three truths. One, all human beings are created equal. Two, rolling up your sleeves and following through on a sound plan is the only way to fix a problem. Three, there are, and always will be, problems to fix. So, we must stay proactive in hunting and killing them.
I am a Republican. I am annoyed with Republicans. However, I could never support the current Democratic candidates, nor could I support the ones in the recent past. They violate the three truths. Their plans don't stand up to scrutiny, they are content to sit around and blame without fixing things, and lastly, and most importantly, the Democratic candidates believe in supporting different people because of their race, sex, orientation, and likewise.
Show me one of our two-party candidates who is proactive, works hard, surrounds himself with great and intelligent thinkers, and treats all people as equal, and that candidate is the best possible. But as things stand now, it will never be a Democrat. Both parties have lost their way, but Republicans can still see and occasionally have their foot on the right track. They need a good shove to find it. Democrats, though, need a long forced march before they reach the truth.
And that is why I am a Republican.
