I am a retired high school band director whose equal passion is history and politics. I grew up in a deeply Republican household all of whom have fled that party in horror during the past 8 years. My son served with a National Guard MP unit in Baghdad so I have a deep and cutting opinion of this war as well as its perpetrators.
