I am currently attending Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ and in my few years here, have come to understand a perspective about the immigration debate that most aren't aware of.

I know many here who have come across the border, without their consent or knowledge as young children in their mother's arms, to be brought up in the only world they know, a hostile one. A world where you're only one raid away from being torn away from your home, family, friends, everything you know. You aren't allowed to even exist, your invisible.

It was a hard pill to swallow because I had bought into the the status quo, the Lou Dobbs, Republican, Minute Man garbage. But it was medicine, to cure one last remaining vestage of racism in my Caucasian bones.

I know that many will disagree with me, I accept that. All I ask is that you consider all things.
