I consider myself to be a progressive independent that is staunchly anti-republican. I am a big fan of President Obama and have high hopes that he can lead this country out of the wilderness. However, I am not a blind loyalist and will criticize him when I feel it is warranted. My new hero is Alan Grayson for having the guts to stand up for the American people. Bernie Sanders is my hero in the Senate because he is not beholden to any special interests and is always looking out for what's best for the country.
I have two science degrees and naturally have an interest in any articles that pertain to science and technology, especially topics related to NASA and astronomy.
