Compassion Forum On CNN: Clinton, Obama Square Off

So Obama has shot himself in the foot while Hillary has been dodging sniper fire? You make me chuckle. posted 04/13/2008 at 22:53:49
Well Candy Crowley (sorry if I spelled her last name wrong) is so for Hillary, God it was like she was going to leap out of her chair when talking about her. I went to college in PA and began my career there that required me to travel throughout the state, and Obama was on target. Take notice of something people, he traveled through many rural communities of PA, and he listened to what people were saying and he acknowledged that frustration.
Watching Hillary she played the great pretender. Let McCain or Clinton win, and in 4 years nothing will have changed for the better in this country. posted 04/13/2008 at 22:31:52

Obama Urges Parental Responsibility

I like Obama a lot, but the one problem I have with all the candidates, is that when it comes to public education they are not the ones having to deal with the system as all of their children attend or have attended private schools. I would love to be able to afford$20-30,000 private school tuition for my children, but my husband and I cannot and therefore must deal with the many shortcomings of a public education system that is failing our children. Our family is supportive and involved in the education of our children but there are some serious problems in the American public education system that not one of these politicians can begin to understand because their children have access to private schools. In my opinion, the candidates are too afraid to disagree or challenge the teacher's union. It would be refreshing if a candidate took a more independent view and listened to the parents that truly have strong interest in their children's education. posted 04/11/2008 at 12:51:14

McCain Won't Rule Out Pre-Emptive War

What scares me is one: The press has given McCain a pass by consistently regurgitating that he is a "maverick," a fighter, and an independent. They shrug off his "senior moments" and talk about his time as a POW. Therefore, Americans cannot look to the press for any unbiased reporting of the man.
Second, Cheney is busy making deals that will further entrench this country in wars in the Middle East all in order to gain control of oil exports. The Republicans cannot risk any of that being tampered with, so they will steal this election any way possible. Finally, Wall Street - it is to the benefit of Exxon, Time/Warner, and the banking industry and so on to keep the White House under Republican control. After all, how nice that the banking industry can receive a nice bail-out by the government while at the same time raising interest rates to ridiculous levels on responsible consumers. I guarantee within a year it will be disclosed that the banking industry managed to make a very nice profit from all of this and their top-level executives were handsomely rewarded. posted 04/10/2008 at 10:13:33

Jon Stewart Awards Obama "Dick Move of the Week"

So What!!! Hey Hillary had Elton perform for her but you had to pay big $$$$$ and Obama had Matthews perform, but people got ot see him for free. Not like he did it to Hillary, it was just Billyboy flapping his gums. posted 04/10/2008 at 09:31:59

Clinton Blasts Media Double Standard

Hillary is providing a very good glimpse into what her time in office will be like - she will always be whining about "unfair" treatement by the press, she will have individuals on her staff as well as Bill making deals that will further illustrate that she has little control over the people around her, and finally due to the Clinton cronies her administration will be plagued by one scandal after another. Of course through all of this she will tell the American public it is due to some conspiracy the Republicans have cooked up.

It seems like everyone keeps trying to justify one fundamental truth about HRC - a lier is a lier that will always lie. Hasn't this country had enough. posted 04/09/2008 at 13:31:05

Why Women Like Me Support Hillary (One Story from the "High-Heeled Militia")

I'm grateful that the author has made a documentary relating to autism, there is so much that needs to be done in this country regarding autism beginning with the vaccinations that are administered to children. But as stated previously from other posts, this was an event where wealthy women who were smartly dressed were allowed an audience with the Pope, I mean Hillary. Supposedly, we are made to believe that Hillary is so passionate about health care/insurance in this country that she will fight to make things better - Question, if she cares so much about creating universal health insurance than why would she prefer to hand the election over to McCain, who could care less, in hopes of running again in 2012? If Obama were to win the general election, don't you think he would be open to listening and working with Clinton, Edwards, as well as others, who want to see changes to our health care system.

But Hillary cares so much you and this country that she would rather see McCain become president whereby more children can suffer. Don't you think it's better to have someone in the White House who wants to improve the health care system as opposed to McCain who thinks our health care system is perfectly fine. posted 04/01/2008 at 09:04:11

Chris Wallace Regrets Speaking Out On Obama Bashing: "I'm Not Sure I'd Do It Again"

Mike Wallace was a true journalist, who in my opinion, was objective and went for the facts. Chris Wallace is nothing but a talking head pretending to be something he is not - a journalist. Would any of these talking heads play the Fox game if they weren't getting paid big salaries, hardly. If "liberal" media news organization offered them a huge salary to be a talking head on their news show they up and change colors real fast.
Perhaps I'm just getting older and becoming increasingly more concerned with what is happeining to our country as well as the world, but what I have seen across the board on all the media outlets is nothing but lazy reporting on all the candidates. Thank God for NPR, PBS and the BBC as well as outside the corporate owned news journals; at least here the tougher questions are being addressed and issues being raised. posted 03/27/2008 at 10:18:30

Reid: "Things Are Being Done" To End Dem Primary Before Convention

Obama Tax Returns: Low On Story Lines And Charity Donations

At least Obama puts it out there, warts and all, compared to Hillary who keeps telling everyone - "oh, it's coming we just have to craft all our documents to hide vital information." But does the press put any pressure on her, does SNL write any skits highlighting these facts - NOOOOO. I'm sick of the press and the media making a mockery of providing "objective reporting." posted 03/26/2008 at 08:57:36

Obama's Great "Bad Week"

I have to agree with robXdion, the press is loving this because many whites are terrified of having a black person become president. Hillary Clinton will really be no different than McCain if she become President. If the press covers Obama than it is more often negative whereas the press is forever trying to figure out a way for Hillary to win. The mainstream media has completely given McCain and Hillary a pass on everything they have said or done before and during this campaign. posted 03/24/2008 at 12:33:41
