I love my kids ... they are my heroes.

I believe in tough laws, justice, equality, and the death penalty as a form of justice.

I believe in a woman's choice, healthcare and education for all.

I believe the response to Katrina was a litmus test for this country. The government failed yet the people continue to come through.

I believe we can all do more to help each other. Greed is soooo yesterday.

I've lived in Charlotte and Atlanta. Currently live in the country but am beach bound next year.

Have an adorable husky/akita named Booger, a cat named Cheeto and two gold fish Miracle (it's a miracle that he's lived 5 years) and Michael Jackson (once was black and turned gold over the years).

I love good rock, motown, blues and still have a thing for big hair bands. Other loves include history, reading, photography, politics, football, baseball, and hockey (and no, I'm not a hockey mom .... you betcha).

I'm happiest when my kids are with me.

Lived the high life, met alot of "important" people and realized it wasn't me. Now I search for simplicity and peace.

Happiness to me would be sitting on my backporch, watching the sun rise over the ocean, drinking a cup of tea, petting my dog and listening to my kids rustle around the house.

I hate my current job but am back in school "changing my stars".
