Slinky the Wonder Ferret was born on Labor Day in a sanitorium, although his birth certificate has a typo that lists it as sanitarium.
He grew up in and around Atlanta, Georgia. When he was in his late teens, he was taken in by the nationalistic propaganda of the Reagan crowd, but by the time he was 19 or so, he had pretty much sussed them out and gotten a clue about how the system worked.
Since then, he has been in the tank for truth, justice, and the American way, without regard to how many Republicans call him a traitor and suggest that he leave the country. Well, his ancestors were here in 1740, so they can get the hell out of his country if they don't like him.
