Bio
My experience spans 25 years (OK, maybe a little more than that) in the areas of communications, public relations, radio broadcasting, newspaper media and the Internet. Journalism degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Have worked in Chicago radio news as an anchor at WLS-AM, WGN-AM and WBBM-AM and Satellite News Network. I've been published in the Chicago Sun-Times, (Aurora) Beacon News, and the Daily Herald newspapers, and recently was editor of The Farmside before corporate took over the local papers and blew out most of the editors. I am also quite dismayed at the way all the news media cover "news" these days. Favorite movie is still "Deadline, U.S.A." with Humphrey Bogart and Ethel Barrymore, a tribute to the old news reporters. What will we do when Helen Thomas retires?
