Why shock? There are millions of guns in the US. Anyone can lay hands on a gun who wants to.
Like other countries the US has crazy people, drunk or drugged people, angry people in divorce, confused unhappy teens and many more who decide to shoot someone, usually on a whim.
The difference between our country and other civilized countries is we permit and perhaps encourage more and more guns. The result is very predictable.
So accept it, folks. You support the gun laws either by positive support, or by doing nothing about them.
"Shocking" killings will never stop, so get used to it.
