I worked as a teacher, initially in history and politics, then in Information Technology.

I have an interest in politics, history and current affairs.

Australia is a small power in the world and has to ride the waves produced by the large powers, US, EU, China, Russia, Japan.

An Australian should have an understanding of these other countries / regions to understand our choices in the world.

In my view the major problems that we face are environmental. Solution of our environmental concerns is complicated by politics both national and international in the real world.
