I got to agree with you here. The girl that cuts my hair that is rapidly going silver grey wants to color my hair. My mother says it will make me look younger. I love the color of my hair. I hate to see women that dye there hair either too dark or blonde as they get older. I exercise at a gym almost daily and always have men flirting with me and I'm in my mid 50s. One old man told me with a smile that I have the body of a young girl. What a great compliment that was. Anyway youth is a state of mind and not the state of how you cross your legs. Cheap crappy work for big bucks, whats really bad it seems as though its always the good-ole boys that get the high paying jobs they screw up so badly. My daughter delivers babies at a hospital close to the Mexican border. She use to be sympathetic but not anymore. Shes paid for her two kids to be delivered while the girls from Mexico don't. What irritates her the most is most of the girls/women have had no prenatal care what so ever. Francois, I do see alot of people whining but most arent wanting to change their ways. We Americans have alot more than most people in the world, but we are never satisfied. I have always said if you dont like the price of something dont buy it. Learn to adjust, Americans use to be the most adaptable self relient people in the world, but it seems as that has gone by the wayside. Everone now wants with no pain involved. I'm an owner of an electrical contracting business. Its really hard to compete against people who dont buy insurance or workmans comp and use cheap labor. We play by the rules and pay our guys well. We always have guys calling looking for work..One business in town is notorious for shoddy work. We hired 2 of their guys and had to let them go for their work was reall bad. He already bought a house a few years ago. A small 1 bedroom but its not good enough for his girlfriend. I could go on and on about what a financial idiot he is but then I see that in alot of younger people now a days. Gotta have brand new and the best. Oh we pay plenty of taxes monthly, and it pisses me off. Then there is the quarterly estimated taxes which I think everyone should experience. Thats not much fun either. And I'm afraid that whoever gets in office will raise more taxes on us it just might mean we will lose an employee or two. We own a small business that employess 4. The other day one of our young employees complained he didnt make enough money. Ok then do you still smoke? Yes me and my girlfriend spend 80.00$ a week on cigarettes and we want to buy a new house( they dont like the one they are buying now). So we told him it was time that they quit smoking and that his girlfriend find a job any job. She wanted to clean our bathroom for 20.00 at our shop. It takes about 30 minutes. We are not a big business and have spent years building it up. Alot of peoples money problems is because of how they spend money. Yes I agree the economy is bad right now but there are things people can do. BTW our young employee makes 15.00$ an hr, not bad for a kid. I find a lot of people are clueless about money especially young people, maybe the hard times a coming will be a wake up call for America and its gotta have mentallity. posted 04/18/2008 at 18:33:40
