Born into a small clan of swampgrass farmers, Tergenev quickly rose through the ranks of society, culture, and the mainstream media via various means; means that were never limited to hard work, guile, charisma, and immense talent, but also encompassed treachery, push-polling, dreadful cutups, and being horribly rude, to ultimately reach his present stature as Divine Ruler of the Universe. (Or should we say 'penultimately' . . . since he has aspirations to rule other Universes, as well.)
