I have been positn on Huffpo since its inception, however, I'm finished. The forum was uncensored for the first year or so, but then came censorship, and finally paid trolls. If you look at the profiles of most "conservative" posters on this site, they all have one thing in common: brand new posting identity & a small mnumber of posts. Upon closer examination it is obvious tha many of these posters are the same person. Hey its their site, and they can f-ck it up however they want to. I am tired of voicing my opininions on what is becoming more andd more of a phony forum.
This country is in dire need of honest political leadership, honest news media, and a concerned and informed citizenry. Right now we have none of those things. Our government is owned by corporations, and has no interest in serving the public. Fear has come to relace freedom, and groups of people are being played against each other in order to create artificial conflicts that mask the true agenda of our leaders, both public and private. This nightmare began under Nixon. Reagan was able to bring in the "christians", and the rest is our sorry history. The Bush presidencys resulted in a further deterioration of all of our core institutions. Now we are a divided people. Poorer, with less opportunity, and a crippled political system. Thanks to pandering to fear an right wing extremism I now live in a country that approves of torture, and wages unjust wars in my name, while everyone I know struggles to maintain the same standard of life that was taken for granted a generation ago. Good job "conservatives". Pat yourselves on the back, you have brought the greatest nation in the world to her knees. Innocent people fill our jails, while criminals sit on our boards and in our government. Our news media trivializes serious issues and distorts the truth for profit. Our healthcare system is simply a way of extorting money from the sick, and our military is used to benefit private groups of wealthy well-connected corporatists. So once again I say to all the "conservatives" out there. Bravo. You have done what our enemies never dreamed possible
I am through with Huffpo. It is as phony as the rest of this country. I have better things to do with my life than argue with paid trolls, while war crimes go unpunished and our jails fill with non-criminals. Enjoy your resource wars, media wars, drug wars, and wars of economic conquest. I will lay low and live with as little outside interaction as is humanly possible. Enjoy the fruits of your efforts, "conservatives", and may Karma bless you for what you have done to your brothers and sisters.
