I am a author and a vegetarian cook; my third book is due out early next year. I am a fan of history, philosophy, and I enjoy keeping up with the news...on that score, however, I feel that the big TV news outlets are slacking...they cater to paid sponsors and would rather spend hours on the latest celebrity gossip than cover really important issues like, for instance, helping Americans make an informed choice for President in '08. That's why I like looking for news online and that is also how I discovered The Huffington Post which I feel is covering the issues thoroughly with a wide view and variety of opinion...it makes you think...thanks Huffington Post!
