All 3 degrees from the state school (University of Illinois). I started blogging to teach family therapy and soon learned that having a popular blog means you can say whatever you want and get all the attention you need.
Writing the blog, Everyone Needs Therapy (http://everyoneneedstherapy.blogspot.com)is almost as fun as doing the therapy.
Someone recently wrote, I think it was Jim Ferris, that one good blog can change the world, and as corny as that sounds, it's why I started writing.
But hyper-verbiage happens to people over 50 as the long-sublimated parts of personality resurrect themselves under the guise of, I'M OLD. We get as eccentric as we want, which about sums it up.
