Graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 1973. Works in the Oil and Gas Industry. Became aware of climate change in mid 1990s. Understands this issue as essentially a science-based problem which could be solved.
Tom believes a "scientific second industrial revolution" can produce a zero emissions industry and full employment worldwide.
Now in in mid 50s, Tom is an advocate of a "Closed Loop" Industrial Turbines which produces ZERO emissions. These turbines would be the "prime mover" for 21st Century America and would produce hydrogen which he believes will be the "fuel of choice" for automobiles in the future.
This fuel has the potential to be mass-produced cheaply (About the same as $1 per gallon gasoline)
He advocates increasing research exponentially in this technology as well as for research in all sciences.
The cornerstone of all of this is massively increasing the spending for education as he believes this will be absolutely essential to insure the advance of mankind.
