Hillary's $6.4 Million is a Wise Investment, for 2012

Unless Hillary continues on her current path of destruction. You seem to be wearing rose-colored glasses, my friend. I assure you that given Penn and Wolfson's past machinations and what they HAVE ALREADY SAID TODAY (go check it out on Kos), one can only assume that Hillary is hell-bent on doing exactly what this post suggest.

The only thing that will stop her are enough high-ranking dems/supers telling her to quit and get out.

Think about it. If HIllary was behaving as well as you say, none of these politicians would be as worried as they are. Feinstein would NOT be on the headline of the politics session saying "show me your plan."

Think about it. It's simple logic. posted 05/07/2008 at 23:40:37

This whole "controversy" amounts to something only I know:

That Jack the Ripper killed the prostitutes because of the influence of Grand Theft Auto.
Yes, it's true.

Okay, it's obviously and ridiculously not true. Do you see my point? There will always be culprits pointed at by those who can't point the finger at themselves. Think about it.

The truth is, video games aren't the culprit. Human nature is the culprit behind violence and these awful times.

Exactly, if the voters in Michigan and Florida are SO upset, then they shold fire the heads of their party in those states. The ones that made the decision. I know. I know. In Florida, it was the Repubs who brought the date up. Well, maybe Floridians shouldn't have voted those repubs in office then.

Oh. You didn't vote them in office? The republican voters did? I still fail to see how that is Obama's fault. Michican has no excuse. They did it just to do it.

And until they fire those responsible in Michigan and at least hold their feet to the fire, it's hard for me to see that the voters there care much at all. posted 05/07/2008 at 18:19:39

That's what you mean with your slightly mis-informed statement, right? Repeat after me. SHE AGREED TO NOT PARTICIPATE. By even suggesting the nuclear option, guess what? SHE'S PARTICIPATING NOW.

And yeah, I yelled. It seems like it's the only way to get through. If Hillary can't keep that one simple promise, how can we expect her to keep any promise?

Arianna Huffington: The Latest Victim Of John McCain's Surge In Lies And Smears

I'm going to try to post this one last time. As I posted originally, the censorship is awful. Mr. Schecter, I've admired your writing in the past so please don't delete this again. I'd like it to stand as written earlier:

I know my comment will be stricken and never allowed to see the light of day as with so many of my other comments (regarding HuffPo's recent Fox-like headlines, Ms. Fowler and more), but doesn't anyone see the pure hypocrisy in this?

I used to love HuffPo. Loved it. Ate it up for days on end. But with the pure censorship seen here lately, doesn't anyone see the hypocritical irony in this piece? Arianna, or her surrogate, is claiming that they've been maligned? Arianna had the audacity (quite the worn-out word lately) to go after John Mcain--while those of us here who at one time loved Huffpo are censored (or deleted like many DKOSers have pointed out recently; sorry don't have the link handy),

As much as I hate John McCain, more and more it appears that HuffintionP really has become the Fox news of liberal "journalism," and I simply can't feel sorry for Arianna until things start to change around here. I've been here since the beginning. Please don't continue down this path.

I'll be surprised if this post even surfaces. Most of my other ones haven't seemed to. Let's try not to become the thing we most-despised. This is my last plea. posted 05/06/2008 at 23:54:13

"Shouldn't you have done this?"
"Shouldn't you feel bad about?"
"Shouldn't the senator have done?"

Stuff like that. ALL THE TIME. It's how he tries to win his arguments and get that "Gotcha" moment from his interviewees. Anyway, I hate that crap. It's a dishonest way to run an interview and it's a shitty way for bloggers to behave as well. posted 04/14/2008 at 16:43:47

The best way to return the favor to Ms. Fowler and Mr. Rosen is to simply not read their columns anymore. It's not like Fowler was ever a real journalist anyway.

It's like when the Today Show announced Kathy Lee as one of their new "anchors." Hahaha. If there was any doubt that the Today Show was no longer a "news" show, that should've been it. I'm not hitting against Kathy Lee. I'm just saying that she's not a news anchor. But then neither are the rest of the crew on that show any longer.

It would be interesting if people came together to simply not read Ms. Fowler and Mr. Rosen's tripe or to not comment. Maybe then they'd get the picture. posted 04/14/2008 at 19:38:34

Obama's Lobbyist Fib

That's BS. It has nothing to do with Obama. It has to do with nearly every politician (or even dim-witted blonde bimbos in the entertainment section) being saddled with the same SHOCKING HEADLINES that Huffpo used to accuse Fox news of. And the headlines almost always have NOTHING to do with the person they're maligning.

Huffpo is becoming more and more synonymous with Fox and hypocrisy in general. And it doesn't matter which candidate you support. I know HuffPo wants to sell sell sell just like normal "news." But they should practice what they preach and just sell the story based on there actually being a story.

Because guess what: If the story was good enough, they wouldn't need the juicy headline to get people to read it. As with so many on this site, we can see that the stories have little actual value. posted 04/07/2008 at 16:13:59

The author of this blog jokes that Obama's table is very long (many times) throughout. I'd prefer to think of it as a "round" table, not unlike that of Arthurian legend. One where everyone is "equal." This is very much in line with the end quote from Obama, "A bias towards empowering ordinary citizens."

I think the author's derision towards Obama's views speak more about the author than anything else. Simply put, she is everything that we don't want to see in ourselves.
