Florida, Michigan cannot save Clinton

I couldn't have said it better myself.. It's all about the money, and downticket prospects for the supers, and they have taken stock, and are starting to decide in increasing numbers that Obama is better in that regards.

Even my republican friends are deciding Obama is better than McCain. Gosh I thought the republicans would have thrown Bush overboard, since they haven't now they will have to pay the price. posted 05/16/2008 at 12:12:57

Tell yourself that in the mirror No We Won't and then go ahead vote for McSame, and if he wins we will see how you feel about NO WE WON'T when McSame sends your children, and or grand children to war. Or completly destroys the economy.

Go ahead vote for McCain out of your emotional need to exact vengence on the candidate that a majority of people voted for.

I'm starting to think the baby boomers are a bunch of spoiled little brats acting out like children in a candy store because they can't have a Hillary Clinton nomination.

If they want more war, and a sagging economy let the just vote for McCain. It's there right, and there duty to vote as they see fit. Let them vote there emotions, that's how we got 8 years of Bush. If they truly feel there candidate has been descriminated against, let them vote McCain. Hillary's $6.4 Million is a Wise Investment, for 2012

I agree with the poster, on this she would bow out if her intentions were not politically motivated. However in the long run if she does continue to tar Obama, the stench around Hillary will not be forgoten in 2012. The party insiders would never let her contend in a presidential primary. Yes the voters might forgive and forget, but not the party faithful. The kneecap scenario doesn't play well for Clinton, because the end game will kill her. However nothing can be put past the Clintons, they will sell there party down the river to reap gains in the short term. posted 05/07/2008 at 19:48:22

Yes in part they have, they don't own lock stock and barrel the american electorate's opinions. I saw this coming awhile back, when Obama came out of nowhere and was suddenly ahead in the nomination despite the media selling us the inevitability of the Clinton nomination. Finally the supers are starting to wake up here. Clintons have no money 10 million in 24 hours only pays of there debt, from March, this is april, and I'm sure that she spent at least 10-15 million in PA. I really don't think she has the money to fight NC, and Indiana at the same time.

Supers do you have any sense of SURVIVAL? Go with the money every time.... Parties are run on money, not electability arguments.... What do the Clintons have to offer supers? More years of divisive politics, and probably no re-election hopes mid term, and a total flip in the congress. Obama is offering gold plus his numbers are rising again. Clintons now 10%- and falling, she has "Peaked" her negatives are so high that even Bush is laughing at her.

Yes Obama does have risks, like the republicans will say anything to anyone within earshot that Obama's not a patriot. That horse has been ridden into the ground, however there rabidity about Obama is even turning off the republicans. They are circling the toilet, and they no it they are broke, and will not be much of a fight... I find it revealing that they elected a 70 year old, liberal that they really dislike...

Plus Reverend Wrights greatest hits doesn't really play well in a commercial because no one will air curse words on national airwaves without being slapped with a FCC fine. posted 04/25/2008 at 00:47:15

Clinton Debt $5 Million Higher Than Reported

This will all be over soon... Clinton has a very big tab and no money to pay it with... As of march 31st she is 15 million dollars in debt... Plus PA probably cost her 10 million so she is 20 million in debt, according to her own campaign. 5 million in adds at least 5-10 million in salaries, and expenses.

One thing for sure she has to be dipping into her general election fund... However all those receipts she will have to pay back, so if she drops out she is screwed. This is why she stays in she has to, but the longer she does now the bigger her money pit will become. Never seen a campaign flame out on this magnitude.. Any which way you slice it campaigns are run on money, and I don't think she has much of it left. posted 04/25/2008 at 01:01:00

Undecided superdelegates don't feel bound by primaries

This is how it works for those undecideds, they will wait until the last minute so they can sell out there vote to the candidate that has the most powerful political machine. Hillary doesn't have that, proof in point, Obama was a upstart Cinderella story that is now has Hillary Clinton on the ropes. This was HRC's nomination to loose, and she did so. If hillary doesn't win 64% votes she will not catch up in his super-delegate lead, however she will defiantly have a popular vote lead. She really needs a 15 pt smack down to keep the delegate hill from getting any steeper. If she doesn't make that margin she will need to win by more percentage points in the remaining elections, which will be harder to do. posted 04/20/2008 at 19:47:05

Always I hear what your saying, Obama could turn out to be a total Bush clone. However there are several major differences. Let me outline them for you and you can make your own decision based of my findings.

1) Bush was always funded by big oil, and big money. Remember the Have's and Have more speech to his base. Obama is funded about 10% by big money, and big oil (big oil with bundles has given him about 1.5% of his campaign funds as of March FEC filings). The other 90% is small donations as of March FEC filings. Obama will be much more inclined to listen to the little people. HRC is about 90% funded by Big money & Lobbyists so she has no interest to the average joe except for pandering there votes.

2) Obama comes from a poor background where he can empathize with the common american. Bush was raised with a golden spoon. I cannot say for sure but my observations are that golden spoon children have no clue what it's like to be average or poor. Obama was brought up with no golden spoon. He understands what it is to be poor, and learned how hard work can overcome obstacles. HRC was raised in the middle class isolated from the poorest but not completely spoiled. posted 04/20/2008 at 03:34:48

However what they don't realize is the rinse repeat lather they are applying to there arguments, are wearing thin on there respective audiences.

Take for example the Shawn Hanity radio broadcast. I know many republicans that have stopped listening to the show because of Hanity's intense focus (boarding on insanity) on Obama. They are seeing that Hanity hates Obama, and they tune him out, and are starting to think that Hanity is crazy, with the relentless attacks on Obama.

The republican punditry are burning thru there powder kegs so fast right now they will have nothing left in the general election. There shock and awe tactics are already backfiring. Legal Experts Weigh In On Bush Torture Meetings

You cannot grant a pardon into the future. There is no constitutional basis, plus if there was it would be a total farce.

For example :
If I was president I could pardon my self from obeying any law in the future. There is no constitutional precedent, no law precedent for this. I could pardon everyone from the law with this type of power, one could become president, and determine no law applies to anyone, with the type of pardon you seek.

However there is one caveat, and I don't know if the supreme court would uphold a judgment against a president for conducting foreign policy. There is a-lot of case law for that and most of it finds the president not guilty for conducting anything of foreign policy. posted 04/19/2008 at 00:22:18

They charge significant terrifs to the preceding items. We don't sell many cars in columbia.

One example is the ford focus in columbia is like owning a mustang in the states. Columbia you would pay about $20,000.00 for a new focus. Most of the difference is in the terrif. posted 04/10/2008 at 00:07:16

I definatly want someone that can run a tight and effective campaign. Obama has done better than all other campaigns in that regards.

Plus history proves, when campaigns have shakeups they usally lose. posted 04/09/2008 at 23:55:05

Governor Ed Rendell Hints That Mark Penn Should Be Fired

Problem is if she fires him he will want payment, and she cannot afford to pay him at the momement. According to FEC filings she is about 3 million in the hole, and she might have raised 20 million but I wonder how much of that can be used for the Primaries?

Clinton is in a world of hurt the walls are closing in on her, and she needs a big win in PA 80% to really cut into Obama's lead. I have a feeling her campain is about to implode on her. posted 04/06/2008 at 15:40:30

Clinton: Popular Vote Count Must Include Florida, Michigan

What pisses me off is that I as an average joe would be nailed by the police when I break a law. However the Clinton's think they are above the rules. Does that remind you of anyone in power?

The old addage that your presidency will be like your campaign reigns true today as it did 100 years ago. I just cannot envision another Clinton presidency. posted 04/06/2008 at 01:08:43

John Kerry: Obama Won't Be Swiftboated Like Me

That is a wrong supposition, I know more people that don't want Obama, than McCain. Obama will have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to change that.

Let's look at the numbers
20% will never vote for Obama, because of race alone.
29% will not vote for Obama, because he is not Hillary Clinton, so the polls say right now.

Now the 29% might not be accurate in novemeber, but I feel that the 20% will not budge. How will he convince america not to be racist?

It's unfortunate that people really can't see past there own racism even if it means voting against there economic intrests. posted 04/06/2008 at 00:32:06

Chelsea Clinton Tells Press What She Will (And Won't) Answer

I think asking the Monica question is out of bounds. When it happened she was not 18, and it probably isn't anyones buissness of her opinion about it anyways. She doesn't have to answer that question, as we all know that it was her father that was guilty, and she was a bystander.

I understand that people want her opinion on the whole thing but it's really none of there buisness. If you have a problem with it ask Ms. Clinton, or Mr. Clinton. How would you like it if they asked you the same question after going thru that whole ordeal. She wasn't involved at any level so this is just a waste of time. posted 04/06/2008 at 00:18:15

Barack Obama Courts Pro-Gun Vote

I love Obama, but he is pandering on this issue. He isn't pro gun, he's anti gun, however I live in one state that has the most liberal gun laws, so I'm not worried, plust there are much bigger fish to fry like the economy. posted 04/06/2008 at 00:55:18

Hillary and Race Relations: GOP Tactics that Threaten the Democratic Party

I couldn't agree more with the post, 100% correct.

However the Hillary camp has thrown some golden nuggets to the Obama camp.

1) Mark Penn, CAFTA gate (Columbian American Free Trade Agreement) attack if Obama would go up and down the state or even put out an ad attacking Hillary in PA about this jucy nugget, he could pull off an upset in PA. She did it to him in Ohio and set the bar for this herself. We know that Hillary will allow CAFTA to go thru once she is in Office, not that I'm against CAFTA, but Obama is, and I'm sure PA would be also.

2) Illustrate the ease that Clinton lies, to the electoriate, and she is completly untrust worthy . He might win PA. There is still time, and this goes with the general perception, he just needs to drive it home.

I know that Obama doesn't like attacking on a personal level, but if Clinton wins PA by even 1% she will claim a victory (it will be a hollow one), and then she will go into even more negative campaign mode saying that this works against Obama in the Big states, and that is exactly what the Repubs will do in the General Election. This will probably give the repubs even more time to mount there offensive. Plus it will fracture the Dems even more as she does it. posted 04/06/2008 at 00:51:42

Clinton Chief On Colombian Payroll Now Strategizing On Free Trade Deal

Little they dismissed it like it was nothing. They said it's a side show, and no more no less. posted 04/06/2008 at 01:17:57
The only way this story will get legs if Obama pushes it. He needs to drive this home, as this could win him PA, and cause a delegate flood to him.

This isn't even an attack this is just the plain truth, Clinton got up and slamed him about NAFTA, he owes her the same favor. posted 04/06/2008 at 01:16:58

North Carolina Polls: Democratic Primary

The Clintonista's have another smear up there sleave, and they will run it 3 days before the PA primary. They have been digging, and digging, they think they have somthing otherwise they would end this race.

I'm totally for Obama, but I know they have somthing, or will do somthing that will hurt Obama's chances in PA. posted 04/06/2008 at 00:11:48

Clinton Camp: Obama Falsely Claims He Doesn't Take Oil Money

Alessan I think your mistaken. I hear realistically he's probably taking 10% pack money, now. However he has been doing a good job, raising money from the citizens. He has gotten donations from almost 2,000,000 people. That is what is funding his campaign, the DLC is nervous, and they think Obama is a manchurian candidate. Why do you think Clinton is fighting this to the end.

Should Hillary Bow Out?

Because Hillary is acting like a spoiled child. The day that she said McCain has more experience than her and Barack, is the day she needed to step aside. She is saying and doing things that remind peopel why a Clinton shouldn't be in the Whitehouse again. If she would tone it down alot then yes she should still remain in the race. However she feels that she has nothing left but to insult, demean, and just say generally stupid things, that get us nowhere closer to the white house. posted 03/27/2008 at 15:16:48

Reuters: "Somebody Forgot To Tell Hillary Clinton The Democratic Presidential Race Is Over And Barack Obama Won"

I would say that the Whitehouse is the superdelegates to lose. The writing is on the walls, they let this thing continue untill April 22 Hillary will have the democratic party in the double negatives in the Polls. What do they expect Hillary to do? She needs to win 64% of the remaining contests to pull this off, and the new polls are showing that she is more corrosive than pure sulferic acid. Her approval ratings are starting to come close to G.W. Bushes? Who are we kidding the Clintons are now helping the GOP more than the party. Supers grow a spine if not for us then yourselves Clinton is un-electable end of story. 38% approval, and - 48% disaproval rating is not electable. posted 03/27/2008 at 15:04:33

Hillary's Diversionary Tactic Is Feeding The GOP Noise Machine

Yeah not being able to call Hillary a liar, makes you a liar.

That fair analogy, I have seen you claim Obama has an ex preacher that said some racist comments so that makes Obama a racist .

Hillary lied on the record and got caught doing it. Plain and simple trying to defend it is to ignore the truth. posted 03/25/2008 at 22:53:36

Who's Afraid Of James Carville?

What your seeing is the death of the DLC don't think they won't go quietly in the night. This is why the serpentine voice of Carvelle has came out he is and will be the Clinton hit man. I don't know what the Clintons could possibly have on all the Supers, but if you absolve them from power they will not have power to influence you.

The Clintons are floundering on the stick, as they are being sucked dry of money by all the sleazy dems and polls frisking them for re-election money. They will not be able to wither the storm that Obama is about to unleash on them, with his grass roots support base. Clintons now have to run ads for what 3-4 weeks, they cannot afford that. They owe everyone money, and eventually these people will want to get paid. They know if they don't get Hillary nominated they will never be paid back. posted 03/25/2008 at 23:08:46

A Letter to Howard

Stop your dispare Obama has more money, than Clinton. It's kinda like the cold war, he will just outspend her. She is running into the red, her campaign is about to fall apart at the seams. Unfortunatly for her she still has another 4 weeks till the next primary. Obama for better or worse has hijacked her news cycle. He is already running 3 ads in PA. Hillary will have to slow down on the trail she just doesn't have the money. I don't know if he will win PA but 4 weeks and he is hitting the trail as hard as ever, plus almost 2,000,000 donors, that is a very big net of money. He added almost 1 million donors in less than 30 days.
