Obama Berlin Speech: See Video, Photos, Full Speech Transcript

I already did. Send it to MSNBC President Phil Griffin.

GOP Senate Candidate Fesses Up To Pursuing Oil Deal Over U.S. Objections

Not only have we not seen a drop of oil but the Iraqis are paying less than 50 cents a gallon while we pay over $4.00. I wonder how our soldiers are feeling knowing their families are having to pay more for everything because of this ill conceived war in Iraq that was basically about oil.

Another crooked republican selling his soul for oil. And people want to put another republican in the WH. Amazing. posted 07/18/2008 at 00:05:35

Because she is involved in politics only because it is her husband's ambition not hers. Let's hear some more PUMA's about the woman YOU want to be First Lady, Cindy McCain. I will stand MO up against her any day.

Michelle's problem for people like you is that she is a black female.

Did you mean got there?

Yeah we do because we are not going to have some pill popping, theiving, husband stealing Cindy McCain projecting herself as Mrs. Everyday American Woman. Cindy McCain got hammered when she talked about Michelle Obama's "really proud" comment that the MSM, Faux News (edited out the word really) and the republicans twisted into something unrecognizable. I noticed she hasn't spoken about Michelle since.

Bring it on Cindy. Sorry Obama but she is going to get it if she attacks Michelle again. posted 07/17/2008 at 13:17:01
I would stand Michelle Obama up against Cindy Hensley McCain any day. Once the moralistic, holier than thou republicans come to grips with Cindy's adulterous and pill popping, stealing incidents let's see how much moral authority they can say they have.

Cindy McCain is not the kind of woman I would want my daughters to immulate and she is not a role model for First Lady of this country. We have had adultering men as president but I cannot recall a First Lady being of that ilk.

I do not think this is a fight the republicans really want. As a matter of fact a writer here on the HuffPo said everytime the repubs attacked Michelle he would return the favor and attack Cindy. Sorry Obama but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire and these republicans know of and have no moral bounds. posted 07/17/2008 at 13:05:05

Clinton Distances Herself From Anti-Obama Hillraiser

This is Hillary Clinton's fault. If she had conceded the race properly instead of pondering out loud what she was going to do with her 18 million voters, then I do not believe these people would be freaking out like they are. Obama's Multi-Million Dollar Question: What About The Hillraiser Holdouts?

Hillary Clinton is squarely to blame for this Democratic disunity. She undermined Obama by not conceding and throwing her full support to the Democratic Party nominee. I will NEVER forgive Hillary or Bill Clinton and their supporters for what they have done to the Democratic Party.

Why is it that the first legitimate black candidate and presumptive nominee has to play by their rules? Did they play these same hardball tactics with all the other WHITE MALE candidates? NO, they fell in line behind the Party.

This is sad and disgusting. If Obama loses, it will be the fault of Hillary Clinton, period because she allowed her campaign to be run like a republican. I cannot remember when I have ever heard a Democrat treat a fellow Dem like she did.

On Newsvine.com, the Hillary supporters are ridiculous to the point of wanting to disrupt the convention. If they do this to the first black candidate of the party, I will leave the Democratic Party because they are not the party I grew up with. posted 07/15/2008 at 12:34:47

They know poor people refinance more often so they impose a pre-payment penalty. They knew what they were doing when they lured many, many people into their spider web.

Sticking A Wrench In The Gearbox

The long term consequences of what the Clintons have done to the Dem party as well as the Obamaphobia inhabiting the party will be a very broken relationship with the most faithful voting bloc the Democrats have had. The AA support of the Democratic party will not be the same if the racists in the party and the die hard feminists who think the sun rises and sets on Hillary Clinton cause Barack Obama to lose.

It never ceases to amaze me how the rules always change whenever a minority, in particular African Americans, are on the verge of accomplishing something. The rules for Obama are different from any other white candidate. He has to prove this, or he has to address that. I have not heard anyone ask John McCain about his religious beliefs or what church he attends. I have not heard anyone ask John McCain about how patriotic he felt when he skirted the Keating 5 scandal and got his wife out of trouble for stealing drugs. Joe Scarborough Disses Rachel Maddow

Joe Scarborough is just like the rest of the republicans cannot stand SUPER SMART, COMPETENT, females who are straight and they absolutely HATE the gay ones like Rachel. Too darn bad Joey--get over it.

He ALWAYS tries to put Rachel down like he does Mika but Rachel is too smart and too quick. Mika is very shakey--maybe she wants to keep her job. Joe is a true chauvinist and a know it all.

Rachel came to the aid of a fellow female panel member (black woman) when Pat Buchanan yelled at her to "shut up." Oh, Rachel took Buchanan to task for his blatent disrespect showing that she is not afraid to dance with the big boys.

She should continue to stand up to Slick Joey.

A graduate of Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley, California, Maddow later obtained a degree in public policy from Stanford University in 1994. She then received a Rhodes Scholarship in 1995 and used it to obtain a D.Phil. in political science from Lincoln College, Oxford University.

Her political activism has focused on AIDS and prisoners' rights, especially the prevention of the spread of HIV and AIDS in prisons. She is gay, and is an outspoken advocate for gay and progressive issues.

You people are a trip. Why is Obama being held to this HIGH, HIGH standard when you all voted lock step for Bush, Kerry, Gore, Bush, etc. and any other WHITE PRESIDENTIAL candidate even you did not agree with all they stood for.

The CON JOB is the one the republicans, led by Bush and Cheney, have perpetrated upon this country over the past 8 years and the "voodoo economics" the republicans have implemented over the years.

IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT YOU LIBERALS. OBAMA has to appeal to a broad base. Do you want to win or do you want McCain to carry out the plans of PNAC? Do you want to give the republicans cart blanc to finish what GWB started-- the destruction of the USA as we know it?

Michigan, Florida, and the L-word

I am a Florida voter nylaw13 and like you, I voted too knowing my vote would not count in the primary. Actually I voted because I am a property owner and the property tax amendment was important to vote on. Also, I had to vote for a candidate for a congressional office.

This whole situation is BS. Hillary Clinton and her cronies knew last year the delegates would not be seated--they did nothing--why? The Clintons did nothing because they did not see Obama as a threat. Now she needs those votes she wants to change the rules. To add insult her campaign with the media are trying to make it look like it is Obama's fault.

For the record, Florida law requires all candidates running for president to be on the primary ballot in order to be on the presidential ballot. THAT is why all the candidate's names were on the Florida ballot. The DNC did not have to strip all of the delegates--the Republicans stripped half of theirs. The DNC and the Rules Committee created this problem and now want to change their perceived fatalistic decision--too late not to seem like it will help one candidate over the other. Too late not to be perceived as a waste of money when all the monies need to be used to defeat the Republicans leading up to November. Too late to not be seen as a desperate tactic by the Clintons and their super delegates in those states when they try to come up with money by private donors to redo the votes. It is in essence--TOO LATE.

For Hillary Clinton to stand in front of the world and say the contests were "fair" when everyone heard her say differently in October 2007 and February 2008, is another low in politics and for the Clintons in particular.

I find it hard to believe the Democratic Party, the party who distinguishes itself as diverse and inclusive is showing its true colors. The people who make up the Party have shown us some of the worst of racism and bigotry in this country. The Party has been exposed as no better than the Republican Party when it comes to race relations. To hear the pundits, news stations and the Democratic Party itself break the people of the Democratic Party down into blue collar racists, African Americans into a monlithic voting block solidly supporting one candidate when it has never been analyzed as such when they voted for White candidates or the Party itself, is an eye opening event that has forever changed my view of the Democratic Party.

This is not about Barack Obama's unwillingness to change the rules in the fourth quarter. It is about the integrity of the Party, its candidates, and the people who make up the Party. The bitterness and divisiveness created by the race has been staggering. I am ashamed of this Party's squandering its truly moment in historical time. posted 03/24/2008 at 11:31:47
