Bio
I am a passionate liberal, raised in a working class, military, Republican family and am married to a conservative businessman so I get the big picture. I have a degree in sociology and graduate work in Business Administration. I have always worked for a living in a variety of jobs in food service, graphics, manufacturing, customer service, counseling, organizer with the United Farmworkers Union (yes, I knew Cesar Chavez), Union Rep, procurement, ESL tutoring and Substitute Teacher. A mother and a wife, I am presently semi-retired, an artist, a poet, Buddhist, gardener, community volunteer, peace-maker, and speck on the planet for a brief nanosecond of earth time.
