I believe all Verena is doing is looking for spiritual qualities in one of God's creatures! Are we not all born of God and is God not in everything on this earth. If so then, her realizing that dogs have a zen like spiritual quality of living in the moment that sometimes we humans forget about, then i do believe her inspiration IS COMING FROM GOD.
