Andy Gaus is the author of "The Unvarnished New Testament," a complete translation from the Greek, and a collection of translations from the German of Rainer Maria Rilke entitled "Requiem for a Woman." His most recent translation is of Wilhelm Busch's German children's classic, "Max and Moritz." A composer and lyricist as well as a translator, Andy has written songs and scores for revues, musicals and operas produced in Boston, where he makes his home.
