His primary areas of interest include research into regulatory and policy-related systemic factors contributing to health, education, and other social problems.
His wide-ranging background includes work in the fields of Public Health, Economic Development and Education. Additionally, he served as a consultant for business, corporate and governmental clients, and operated several quality improvement consulting companies.
He served as a member of the New Mexico Government Operations Advisory Committee. He was a member of the City of Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues and a presenter at a National Conference on high school dropout prevention in 2005.
He earned degrees from the College of Santa Fe, and The Graduate School, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, in Diplomatic History.
He presently resides in Cave Creek, AZ.
