Bush Compares Obama To Nazi Appeasers

Sometimes, just sometimes, you gotta love Tweety. I mean, really, that was great! posted 05/15/2008 at 19:35:55

Tuesday's Biggest Loser: Tim Russert (And All The Other TV Blowhards)

There was indeed a study that postulated that conservatives are happier than liberals.

I concluded that the thrust of the hypothesis is ignorance is bliss. posted 05/07/2008 at 23:13:51

Exit Polls: Indiana, North Carolina Latest Information

He's closing the gap in Indiana... could be less than 10% there for her again which is pretty bad.

MSNBC knows what they're doing. posted 05/06/2008 at 20:30:24

Eight Belles, Kentucky Derby Horse, Dies On Track

Why not just slaughter all the animals before the crowd after the race and really make it an event?

Horse racing has all the redeeming social value of dog fighting. No difference. posted 05/04/2008 at 00:57:06

Whoopi: "Part Of Me Wants Mccain To Win"

They won't drown in their own slime, they'll water ski on it. Ignorance is bliss. We are all happy, resilient and patriotic citizens, aren't we? Pennsylvanians think we are.

McCain will win, as improbable as it seems, because the GOP will trot out the patriotism card in the fall. That's all they have to play and we will fall for it - we always do. posted 04/24/2008 at 08:19:20

John McCain, Charles Grassley Physical Altercation Confirmed By Washington Post

Yes, I do; he seems to be obsessed with war. Like the Iraq war vets who return home and can't readjust to civilian life - some admit to a desire to return. McCain vicariously derives a sense of fulfillment from discussing/promoting war games and torture policies, I believe.

Also, I do think he has early-onset Alzheimer's or more likely, dementia in it's early stages.

On This Week yesterday he said within approx. a 2 minute period that, yes, he had actively sought Hagee's endorsement, that it was probably a mistake that he had, and then that he was glad that he had sought his endorsement. It was weird. posted 04/21/2008 at 02:31:38

Questioning Obama, Neither ABC Moderators Nor Clinton Wore Flag Pin Either

For anyone who saw the film In the Valley of Elah, I wish Obama would start wearing a flag pin upside down on his lapel. posted 04/17/2008 at 20:02:59

Worst. Debate. Ever.

"Hey, Hussein! Why no American flag lapel pin?"

I know, shameful.

And how about George's amazingly insightful question to Obama - 'Does Rev. Wright love this country as much as you do?'

What the hell? posted 04/17/2008 at 00:36:34

ABC Hosts Heckled After Debate: "The Crowd Is Turning On Me"

On the contrary, he can take the heat and did fairly well tonight, as did she.

The ABC Debate: A Shameful Night for the U.S. Media

The really troubling thing to me is that this was the last chance to have the candidates on the same stage, the last chance to help voters make an informed decision with this unique format.

ABC bloody well knew this, yet they chose to manage this unique opportunity like an episode of Inside Edition.

What is the purpose of the television news in the 21st century? posted 04/17/2008 at 01:23:34

Clinton emphatically says Obama can win White House

Chuck and Snuffles really took the low road tonight. I felt like I was watching a Dem debate on Faux News, and it affirms my long-held belief that ABC News is an oxymoron. posted 04/16/2008 at 22:44:42

Obama 'Small Town' Comments Draw Fire, Support

I understand what you're saying, but I feel Obama didn't just try to paint small town Midwesterners with a broad brush on Sunday - he threw the whole can of paint on us with his comments.

As an Obama supporter and small town Midwesterner who despises guns, has never been hyperreligious and is not bitter (in my experience, bitter Midwesterners from small towns move somewhere else), I am offended and saddened by his comments. We are not all like that, period. posted 04/11/2008 at 22:45:52

The Face of Number 4,000 in Iraq

This really makes you wonder about those Democrats who say they will vote for John McCain in November rather than vote for the "other" Democratic candidate.

The story of this man's death for nothing is criminal first and soul-crushingly depressing second. posted 03/29/2008 at 20:19:32

Obama, Clinton And McCain's Passports Breached: Two State Dept Officials Fired, Investigation Underway

This is monumental and unconscionable.

I recall a Fox News interview with Bush a few weeks ago and Bush, when asked what he thought of Obama said (I'm paraphrasing) "I dunno, I don't know anything about him".

A harbinger, perhaps? posted 03/20/2008 at 21:09:44
Apparently the State Department notified the Obama Campaign today that breaches occurred on three different occasions and the campaign responded with a public statement, and then more details emerged. posted 03/20/2008 at 21:01:14
