Born in Miami. Raised in the mountains of North carolina. Joined Navy in Feb.1969. Two tours of duty in Viet Nam patrolling rivers. Second enlistment, wrote & taught Navy's .50cal BMG course at Dam Neck, VA. BSs in Education and History, taught at Univ.of New Haven, Dade County Public Schools in Miami. Associate Director of Miami City Mission. Taught at VA Medical Center, Miami; retired Jan.2007. Staunch Right Wing Republican. A true conservative. Love fishing, target shooting, and NASCAR.
