Pelosi is right - there will be a "palace revolution" if the winner of the popular vote (whomever that may be) is not the nominee. We will not have another election stolen from us, even if it is by someone on "our" side. She is supporting the Democratic voters who have already voted, not any particular candidate, and the people who wrote her that letter should be ashamed of their attempt to buy the Democratic party. posted 03/27/2008 at 19:54:34
Thanks to you and Steven Colbert for introducing me to this. I've sent the link along to my email list. I hope a lot of people read this and act on it. Great and positive for all involved. Thanks again. posted 03/26/2008 at 15:43:31
New Mexico was too close to call for how long? She barely won.
Obama does not "buy" superdelegates with positions. Bill Richardson received nothing. He is acting on principle, which I admire him for. posted 03/27/2008 at 02:29:10
Thank you for bringing this up. People seem to misunderstand the greater picture that Wright is referring to: America has sinned. Blind patriotism ignores the genocide of Native Americans and the theft of their land; the injustice of slavery and and its racist legacy; the existence of bigotry of all kinds; and the support of illegal and immoral wars. Criticizing the country's government is the best kind of love: love that leads to improving the country. Why are people so upset about Reverend Wright? I listen to rap music all the time. It doesn't mean I participate in or condone a culture of violence. Obama is very different from Reverend Wright in style and substance. I don't understand why people are harping on this. Anyway, thanks for the post. posted 03/20/2008 at 21:11:57
