Former Bostonian (err, elitist) now effectively trapped in the middle of nowhere, Arizona.
I appreciate HuffPo, sites like it, and those who comment on the news of the day, as I'm able to maintain my sanity by reading it all. In the veritable sea of frightwing idolatry and idiocy that I deal with from all those around me, the common ground I find here re: my ideals is much needed.
I'm a little miffed, though, at the censorship to be found here at HP. Some of my comments have been deleted, and I'm often left scratching my head as to why. I see a lot of stuff posted that one would think should not be...
Still, I'm glad this site exists.
