Yes, many politicians have dubious associations. It's the nature of the business. Obama's problem is that Wright has been his pastor for the last 20 years. Obama is still a fairly unknown quantity where Hillary or McCain are not. Obama was either totally naive about Wright's views or he has been lying about what he knew (I believe the latter).
