Bio
I'm a 38-year-old literature and physics geek with a B.A. and some master's work in English, married, father of two wonderful children (ages 9 and 7), the oldest of whom is a special-needs kid (22q11.2 deletion syndrome, aka DiGeorge syndrome, with severe cardiac sequelae).
I work as a technical writer, shoot recreationally and competitively, have a cat but no dogs (yet), and my dream car is a Volvo S40 T5.
My screen name here and on Democratic Underground comes from Abraham ben Meir ibn Ezra (ca. 1093-1167), by way of Robert Browning's well-known dramatic monologue "Rabbi ben Ezra," to which I was introduced by Isaac Asimov's _Pebble in the Sky_.
