The point again - was not that she did not work for health care, but once it was soundly rejected in 92, no more was said. It was never brought up again and the issue died. This woman did not say that. She said that once the measure was totally rejected, that the issue of health care was not brought up again and that's a fact. I remember it clearly. As I said earlier, maybe she was so devastated by the total rejection or whether Bill's admin told her to drop it, we don't know. But the issue of national health care never came back up again during the administration.

She sure was right on the money on that one. Once that initiative was defeated, it never came back up again. Now whether she wanted to and was so humiliated by the defeat or whether Bill's admin told her to leave it alone,one will never know but it never came up again.
