I read Huffpo for a good while before starting an account. Before, when I used to glance at the comments below a story, I'd marvel at how anyone would spend so much of their time commenting on online news.. Now I'm one of those very people!
I'm interested in issues of language and representation, esp concerning Islam/Muslims (e.g., What does the way we frame discussions about Islamic issues tell about our own hidden biases and assumptions? What gets reported, and how is it presented?), as well as Islam in general, as I try to practice it the best I can.
I've been collecting the most interesting videos related to Islam that I've found on youtube. God willing, you can browse my favorites and find something that might fascinate you or educate you about my faith.
