I have a Ph.D. in International Relations and have taught at several colleges and universities in the Northeast. I currently do freelance writing and research.
Personally, I find the lack of understanding of many Americans on global affairs both disconcerting and dangerous, with views ranging from the simplistic to the exagerrated to the conspiratorial. Not a healthy situation for our civic culture.
