An independent voter, registered since 1972, who despises partisan rhetoric. I've enjoyed this site but have grown disillusioned as it abandons news in favor of social gossip. Apparently we readers are supposed to stroke the bloggers whether or not they are qualified on their subjects. HuffPo should be up front about this--and provide rubber gloves.
